The photo was taken at the Crawford Lake Conservation Area just north of Burlington Ontario Canada. It is a beautiful place. I just happen to have a camera on hand to capture some of the visual magic of the forest.

That photo was recently taken in Nepal. My wife and I were hiking on the Annapurna Circuit and for a period of several hours we hiked through these huge rhododendron trees (or bushes) and I thought they were absolutely beautiful.

Le Lauzet sur Ubaye, originally uploaded by Nicolas Hodée.

The lake where it has been taken is situated in Southern Alps (the Lauzet sur Ubaye village especially). Poeple can swim or fish in summer times into its limpid waters. Most of trees around are conifers, but there are also weeping willows around (while the lake is 900m hight infact...!).
