Chipmunk
We just went camping at Timothy Lake in the Mt. Hood National Forest in Oregon. Once the box of crackers came out, the chipmunks arrived. :)
Foggy forest
Taken on a foggy May day in Garland Park, Monterey County, California.
We pass through a little copse on our way to the fire tower. Oaks. And poison oak. Very happy poison oak. But here's the oaks.

The photo was taken in the forests of the Kitsap Peninsula, near Hood Canal in Washington state, the Pacific Northwest of the USA. The weather was stormy and so the picture was taken hastily in a short moment when the sun broke through and provided the rainbow. I don't consider myself a very good photographer so unfortunately the quality isn't the best. The photo's title is "yokujitsu" and means "the next day."
Finland Forest
I took the picture in city called Tampere in Finland. There are jogging routes around the forest, the place is called Kauppi.

I don't often go to forests and I'm not a professional photographer as well. I'm just a point and shoot type of guy and maybe a bit of a wannabe shutter bug.
