This picture is of the Don Valley, a forested river valley that runs down the central-east side of Toronto. Ever since I bought my DSLR camera last summer, I try to capture an image of it every season to document the changes. Here is a link to the Fall image:

Torre del Lago Puccini
This is part of the Migliarino Natural Park along the Tyrrhenian coast of Tuscany, in Italy. It's a relict of what originally was a vast maritime pines forest covering all the coast till as South as Rome. Deers and boars are pretty easy to spot, especially in early morning hours when they reach for ponds that dot the forest border facing the sand dunes and the sea.

Bamboo Forest
I'm absolutely in love with bamboo. I'm experimenting with photoshop and did some post-treatment on this one. Any constructive feedback would be appreciated.
Photo was taken in Kyoto, Japan.
Twinnings
This is from Fish Creek Provincial Park in the city of Calgary in Canada. I was looking at these trees on a cold, grey day thinking how nice they would be with more color. Then the clouds parted, and the trees and grass came alive for a few short minutes. It made my day.
Coromandel Peninsula
It has been taken in the Coromandel Peninsula, in theNorth Island of New Zealand ; to be precise near Cathedral Cove.
Sproul State Forest
It was taken during field work for the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation of Natural Resources in Sproul State Forest, Hyner, PA.
Sowerby Creek in Winter
It is the forest in my backyard near Hope, British Columbia, Canada.
This was one of the first snowfalls of this season. I always love how it makes the definition stand out in this wild environment.
Took a drive up into the hills behind my home the other day.
A Fine Speciman
Life is rough for the spruce and fir in the upper upper elevations of the North Carolina Mountains. This was taken at the Waterrock Knob overlook on the Blue Ridge Parkway.
I would guess in the winter months there are many mornings when this tree is coated in rime ice. On some of those morning the rising sun will surely be visible and turn this tree into a wonderful, naturally decorated Christmas tree. Now, if only I can be there to capture one of those morning!
Plastic wood
The forest is a watery swamp-like forest in southern Sweden. It has not been penetrated by humans so much.
The forest gets stucked on me. Can´t get me free.
Shot with Pentax K10D and Sigma 18-50/2,8. Processed in Elements 6.0 and Silver Efex.

I love photographing the woods.
I have a thing for shadows! I always try and look for interesting shadows!
I also like the foreground where there is loads of foot prints!
I was really disappointed with myself as my wellies are rubbish and my feet was really cold and I had to go home but later on I was out photographing another woods :D. haha.
I've uploaded another image from these woods! I couldn't choose which one to upload to the group! I prefer the other one yet again. Please take notice that I chose this one as I felt the water was taking more of the subject matter in the other image and this one has shadows from the trees which are the subject matter.....
I hope people agree with me haha!
You can't see me because I'm hiding in the middle shadow! haha! I like how that shadow leads upto a bench.

Misty trail / Туманная тропа
It was taken in Kharkov, Ukraine... yesterday.. :)
So, it suppose to be winter with snow, but all this 'global warming' causing almost no snow for us whole winter.
This is the forest where every Sunday I'm playing volleyball with my friends. It does not matter for us what is the weather - it could be rain, it could be snow, but traditions are traditions - we are playing game... :-)
December??
i think it would be nice for people who see it to know that is from Tâmpa (906m altitude), from Braşov, Romania. You can see the effects of global warming. As my town is situated in a temperate climate, it should have four different seasons, but this year is the worst year ever. It snowed one day, and two days later the snow melted away...
