Another "screech to a halt" situation, - when coming round a bend I was confronted by what looked like a road block - it was the light: (seemed much more intense than I have been able to capture and present.)

Coniferous Forest
Coniferous forest at Erzgebirge in strange light of day.
It was taken this weekend in a forest in the south-eastern German Erzgebirge, near a village called Drebach.
Light in the Forest
Driving through the forest, the eye is caught by light shining through the trees. One never knows how long it is going to last.
This is my church ...
Found an old wood on a walk tonight with incredible atmosphere and light. Just after the frame was taken a deer ran into the light and stopped, illuminated, before bounding into the undergrowth.
Thanks to Maxi Jazz for the title - that's pretty much how this place felt.
